Requirements for Aerospace Micro Screws processing

In the circumferential direction, axisymmetric stretch parts will deform uniformly, and the mold is easier to process and has the best processability. For stretch parts of other shapes, try to avoid sharp changes in the contour. For example, under the premise of ensuring the use requirements, the simplified shape of the rear cover of the automobile muffler changes the production process from multiple processes to one or two processes, and the material consumption is reduced by half.
2. The size ratio of each part of the drawing should be appropriate
The design of flanges and deep-drawn parts should be avoided as much as possible, because such parts require more deep drawing times. For example, the upper and lower size difference of the workpiece is too large, which does not meet the requirements of the stretching process. To make it composite, it can be divided into two parts, processed and manufactured separately, and then connected. If the cavity of the workpiece is not deep, but the flange diameter is large, the manufacturing difficulty is large, and annealing treatment is required in the middle. If the flange diameter is reduced, intermediate annealing may not be required. The contour of the workpiece flange is preferably similar to the contour shape of the deep stamping part. If the width of the flange is inconsistent, it is not only difficult to draw, but also requires additional processes, loosening the trimming allowance, and increasing metal consumption.
3. The fillet radius of the drawing part should be appropriate
In order to facilitate forming and reduce the number of deep drawing, the fillet radius of Aerospace
Micro Screws should be as large as possible. The fillet radius between the bottom of the tension member and the wall, the flange and the wall, and the four walls of the rectangular member should meet the requirements.
