The core causes of Instrument Micro Screws deformation

2026,04,02
Instrument Micro Screws deformation is essentially the result of working loads exceeding the structural bearing capacity or the material's resistance to deformation. This mainly stems from the following factors:

1. Insufficient structural rigidity: Thin template thickness, unreasonable cross-sectional design (e.g., rectangular sections have weaker bending stiffness than box sections), and lack of effective reinforcing ribs lead to bending deformation under load.
2. Stress concentration: Sharp transitions between the rounded corners of the punch and die, and improper template opening positions cause localized stress overload, resulting in plastic deformation.
3. Material performance defects: Insufficient hardness or strength of the Instrument Micro Screws steel, and improper heat treatment processes (e.g., uneven quenching) lead to poor toughness, making it prone to creep or fracture.
4. Uneven stress distribution: Uneven material flow during stretching, excessive lateral force, or unreasonable distribution of blank holder force cause eccentric deformation of the Instrument Micro Screws.
5. Machining and assembly errors: Excessive parallelism and flatness of the template, and excessive gaps between guide posts and guide sleeves exacerbate vibration and deformation during operation.
