Wear Resistance and Sealing Performance Testing of Intelligent Wearing Micro Screws

2026,08,31
Operating Conditions: Dust and metal shavings from metalworking workshops can easily enter the gaps of Intelligent Wearing Micro Screws, leading to surface wear and decreased fit accuracy, especially significantly affecting the cutting edges of stretching dies.
CB0.7 Flat head flat tail self tapping screw
Test Methods: Abrasive wear test. Quartz sand (0.1~0.5mm particle size) is added to the surface of the Intelligent Wearing Micro Screws to simulate a friction environment. Wear amount (weight loss method) and roughness change are measured.
Evaluation Indicators: Wear amount (≤0.5mg/h), surface roughness (Ra≤0.8μm), cutting edge sharpness retention rate (≥90%).
Sealing Design: Rubber sealing rings are installed at the mating surfaces of the Intelligent Wearing Micro Screws to prevent dust intrusion.
Surface Hardening: Carburizing and boronizing treatments are used to increase surface hardness to HRC60 or higher.
Lubrication Optimization: Molybdenum- or graphite-containing grease is used to reduce abrasive wear.
