On August 7, 2025, Hou Hui, General Manager of Chongqing Henghui Precision Mold Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Henghui Mold"), led a technical team to Moscow, Russia, to provide technical support to a local aviation parts manufacturer. The team successfully resolved key technical challenges in machining complex curved titanium alloy surfaces, helping the customer resume production and improve process quality, earning high praise from the Russian side. This initiative demonstrates the depth and effectiveness of Sino-Russian technical cooperation in high-end equipment manufacturing.
According to reports, the five-axis Henghui Mold machine tool used by the Russian customer was experiencing unstable machining accuracy when machining high-precision titanium alloy parts due to the material's thermal expansion characteristics, impacting product qualification rates and production efficiency. Upon arrival, the Henghui technical team quickly conducted a systematic investigation. Focusing on key issues such as thermal deformation and tool vibration during machining, and combining data from the machine's intelligent control system, they proposed a comprehensive solution consisting of "process path optimization + cooling solution upgrade." By adjusting tool path compensation parameters and improving the segmented coolant injection strategy, they effectively controlled temperature fluctuations in the machining area, successfully eliminating the impact of thermal deformation on precision.
"The Chinese team's expertise and responsiveness are impressive," said the Russian production manager. "They not only resolved the immediate issue, but also optimized our entire machining process, significantly improving process stability." After on-site commissioning, the equipment's machining quality met customer expectations, and the production line immediately resumed full capacity.
To further enhance service efficiency, Henghui Mould is simultaneously developing a localized service network in Russia. The Moscow After-Sales Service Center officially opened that same day. Equipped with a team of professional engineers and a stock of key spare parts, it provides customers with full lifecycle support, including equipment maintenance, process upgrades, and operator training. The center will serve as Henghui Mould's technical service hub in Eastern Europe, focusing on serving customers in sectors such as aviation and energy, and developing customized solutions tailored to Russia's unique industrial environment.
"Localized service is a key cornerstone of deepening Sino-Russian manufacturing cooperation," emphasized Hou Hui, General Manager of Henghui Mould, at the center's unveiling ceremony. "We will continue to invest technical resources to ensure customer issues are resolved promptly, while also promoting collaborative development between the two sides in areas such as process innovation and standard setting."
This technical support case provides a practical model for Sino-Russian high-end equipment cooperation. In recent years, with the integration of the Belt and Road Initiative and Russia's industrial modernization strategy, cooperation between the two sides in areas such as CNC machine tools and industrial robots has become increasingly close. Russian industrial experts point out that Henghui Mould, through its combination of technology exports and localized services, has effectively addressed the Russian market's shortcomings in high-precision machining technology, setting a benchmark for Sino-Russian industrial collaboration. Currently, Henghui Mould is discussing the establishment of a joint technical laboratory with Russian clients, focusing on research into materials processing technologies for extreme environments, to further expand the breadth and depth of their technical cooperation.
