Selection and design points for Aerospace Micro Screws

1. The parallelism of the upper and lower surfaces of the die base should meet the requirements, and the parallelism is usually level 4.
2. The die base selected or planned for
Aerospace Micro Screws must adapt to the relevant dimensions of the workbench and slide of the selected press, and necessary inspections must be carried out.
3. The spacing between the guide sleeve and the guide pin installation holes of the upper and lower die bases must be the same, and the accuracy is usually required to be less than 0.02 mm; the axis of the die base guide pin and guide sleeve installation holes should be in a straight line with the upper and lower planes of the die base. When installing the sliding guide pin and guide sleeve, the straightness is usually level 4.
4. The die base selected or designed for Aerospace
Micro Screws must be adapted to the relevant dimensions of the workbench and slide of the selected press, and necessary inspections should be carried out. For example, the small outline size of the lower die base should be at least 40~50 mm larger than the size of the leakage hole on the press table.
5. Try to choose a standard mold frame. The type and specification of the standard mold frame determines the type and specification of the upper and lower mold frames. If the die base needs to be designed by itself, the diameter of the circular die base should be 30~70 mm larger than the concave template, the length of the rectangular die base should be 40~70 mm larger than the concave template, and its width can be slightly greater than or equal to the width of the concave template. The thickness of the die base can be determined by referring to the standard die base, which is generally 1.0~1.5 times the thickness of the concave die to ensure sufficient strength and rigidity.
For large non-standard die bases, Aerospace Micro Screws must also be designed according to actual needs, casting process requirements and casting structure design specifications.
